New Beginnings

My life has been a rollercoaster; it whips around bends and corners as I stealthily fulfill my purpose of being Fredy Espinoza. I have seeked solace in the arms of strangers in New York City; danced to the full blue moon beneath starstudded skies of Miami; and whispered sweet, lingering secrets to my love within the breezy streets of San Francisco.

My life is one amongst many. I am no different than anyone else, except that I actually step out of my boundaries of comfort and do exactly what pleases me. For this, I've caused many close friends and family pain. And on the same token, I've been labeled bold, courageous and unstoppable. However, they are merely labels. Life is not simple by living it through a lens of black and white.

San Francisco is the city of new beginnings. It is a city full of abundance, youth, and innovation. And this is where my new beginnings take place. I firmly believe everyday is a new beginning. Life does not stop yesturday, and it will not stop tomorrow.

The scandelous lifestyle I led in New York enjoyed extending yesturdays into tomorrows. Time did not exist in New York as the past blurred with the future, and the present was engulfed in between.

But here, far away from the City that never sleeps, I have been able to start afresh. Here, time not only ceases to exist, but I am very present to being in the moment. There is so much power in living in the Now. There is no past that holds you back, and no future that sends ripples of pressure down your back.

It is here, in San Francisco, that my new beginnings take root; and a beautiful tree grows in San Francisco.
